Painted on canvas prepared by myself,  from a sketch near Harborne Mill.

In the first and second colours on the  sky, Prussian Blue and Lake was used with Salt's Copal, in the last (a tolerably thick one) Morris's Ultramarine 15/- with a small quantity of Linseed oil and Turpentine, the other parts were painted with the two megilps, but principally with the white.

Exhibited at Birmingham 1830

1831 July 21 Painted thinly over the cloudy part of the sky, used white meguilp and turps and Antwerp Blue

July 25th sent to Manchester and sold there 9 guineas including the frame
